HR Crisis - Too many unqualified candidates
Roughly 1 out of every 60 applicants hired. If it takes just 1 minute to manually screen a resume, then 59 minutes of each hour are wasted.

Keyword searching
Keyword searching suffers from a number of flaws: it handles synonyms poorly,
it does not understand the context of different keywords, and it cannot handle
complex job requirements.

Job-specific questionnaires
Questionnaires are useful for the employer, but are unhelpful for a candidate trying to find the right job.
They are time-consuming to fill out, and
responses can't be used for multiple jobs. Worse yet,
questionnaires give no feedback to the candidate, and
don't help them find the best job for them.

|
What are profiles?
Candidate profiles contain education, work
experience, skill-sets, proficiencies, and more. Job
profiles identify the needs of the job in similar
terms.
|
|
|
|
Advantages of profile matching
The detailed data in each profile lets us match
candidates with the right job. It supports complex
relationships, while avoiding problems of synonyms
and context.
The end result? It's as if every candidate applies to every job, and instantly finds out whether they're qualified. |

Industry taxonomies increase accuracy
Jobstick Filter understand the interrelationships
between job skills. It knows that Trademark Law is
part of Intellectual Property Law, that a programmer
is also a software engineer, and more. This knowledge
lets it make intelligent inferences about a
candidate's qualifications.
